Reports directly to the Project Manager with functional reporting to the regional Senior HSE Manager
? Support overall administration, technical guidance, and leadership in complying, interpreting and implementing all regulatory and contract requirements regarding health, safety and environmental issues
? Will perform a variety of technical tasks and project management duties to ensure processes meet required specifications and contract requirements
? Assist the Project Manager and other team members in the development, implementation and control of critical processes and project control documents outlined in the Project Execution Plan (PEP)
? Ensure HSE/Q policies and procedures are followed by providing suitable assurance audits as deemed necessary
? Produce, implement and control specific documents, such as HSE Plan, HIRA Register, etc.
? Promote actions to identify hazards and eliminate them before an accident occurs
? Investigate accidents and undesirable incidents and implement means of preventing a reoccurrence
? Analyse HSE/Q trends / KPIs and develop improvement plans as required
? Provide responses based on root cause analysis for quality issues, customer complaints, preventive and corrective action requests
? Facilitate safety training, monitor and conduct courses where required and maintenance of training matrix
? Perform and / or assist in internal or external audits as required
? Keep up to date with Health, Safety & Environmental legislation and assist with compliance

Required Skills/Experience:
? At least 4 years? experience in design and development of HSE policies, procedures and work instructions, preferably in the offshore marine environment
? Safety Certificates and Courses including Fitness to Work Offshore Medical certificate is mandatory
? Knowledge and experience in OHSAS 18001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 management system auditing principles and processes will have an advantage
? Proficient in MS Office
? Minimum relevant Degree, NEBOSH Diploma or HSE/Q equivalent training or certifications required
Minimum Experience: 8?years
