PAWS will offer high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter services for owned pet cats on Friday, Aug. 24, behind the Swatara Township Municipal Complex at 599 Eisenhower Blvd., Harrisburg, PA.
Surgeries will be performed in a mobile vet unit by Keystone Mobile Veterinary Services. This clinic requires an appointment. Contact PAWS at 717-957-8122, Box 3; or register online at www.pawsofpa.org. Payment by cash or check will be accepted at clinic check-in time.
Cost is $45 for neutering a male cat, $55 for spaying a female cat; $10 each for rabies and distemper vaccinations at time of surgery; and $8 per pain-med injection.
All cats must arrive in a hard-shell commercial pet carrier of appropriate size.
