The attorneys at Henningsen Injury Attorneys, PC are passionate about helping others ? especially individuals who have sustained a serious injury. The Make it Visible campaign is dedicated to raising $100 million for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund to construct nine centers for research, diagnosis, and treatment of traumatic brain injuries in U.S. military troops. The firm donated $5,000. ?What I like most about this campaign,? said Attorney Todd Henningsen, ?is the real world applications it has for those not only injured in the military context, but also it broader application to civilian life and the help it can provide to all of the people suffering from these injuries.?

As a personal injury attorney, Todd has considerable experience working with traumatic brain injury victims and their families. ?I have seen these brain injuries first hand and they are devastating,? said Todd, ?The first trial I was ever involved in was a traumatic brain injury as a result of a car accident. It was not apparent to outsiders that our client had suffered a brain injury. However, if you spent any amount of time with him, the symptoms slowly became apparent and literally affected every part of his life. Many times the problem is that the victims of this injury either cannot understand or do not want to admit what has happened.?

With the help of donations, the Make it Visible campaign hopes to help American troops get the treatment they need for traumatic brain injuries. According to Attorney Henningsen, the campaign will enable current medical professional to continue working toward solutions for traumatic brain injuries in U.S. military troops. He said, ?Like all issues with mental health, these injuries are nuanced and the symptoms uniquely manifest themselves?Through the efforts of this campaign we are hopeful that the medical professionals will continue their progress in treating these devastating injuries.?
